Redcliffe KiteFest

Without a doubt the most popular event on the Redcliffe Peninsula, Redcliffe KiteFest features an entire weekend of non-stop family friendly entertainment. On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June from 9am-4pm, Redcliffe KiteFest will transform Pelican Park in Clontarf into the Ultimate Kids Weekend.

For the best family-friendly events near Brisbane experience Redcliffe KiteFest – the biggest celebration to hit the Moreton Bay Region.

Kite Flying Arena

Redcliffe KiteFest is renowned for delivering world-class kite displays and will once again play host to a huge group of international and domestic kite flyers, including the amazing Redcliffe Kite Club in the Kite Flying Arena.

Each day from 9am-4pm the sky will fill with kites of all shapes and sizes as the world’s best kite flyers show their stuff.

Live Music on the Main Stage

This festival is known for bringing incredible live music and entertainment to the Moreton Bay Region, and it all starts at Redcliffe KiteFest main stage. Crowds will be wowed as some of the best young performers in South-East Queensland take to the Stage.

The full line-up will be announced closer to the event.

KiteFest Kidz

Sesame Lane KiteFest Kidz Zone is paradise on earth…for kids. Filled with a range of free and low-cost activities, KiteFest Kidz is bursting with fun, colour, and entertainment specifically for children aged 10 and under.

From 9am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday KiteFest Kidz Zone will be buzzing with lot of activities.

Flutter the Fairy

Flutter the Fairy is back at Redcliffe KiteFest with her Magical wishing gems stage show. There will be ribbons to twirl and bubbles to pop, songs to play & a Greedy Goblin to stop!

But wait there is more! Not only can you experience Flutter's magical show you can also join her for story time and even get your face painted for FREE between! Just look out for the big white tent in the Kids Zone.


At Redcliffe KiteFest we want parking and traffic to be the last thing on your mind, so take the stress out of finding street parking with one of the below convenient shuttle bus parking options for Redcliffe Kitefest.

The shuttle Bus runs frequently from times 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Shuttle buses are pram and wheelchair friendly and will service the locations below.
