Located approximately 30 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD, Wantima Country Club has been the Brisbane Northside golf club of choice since opening its course to keen golfers back in 1969.
Originally featuring 6 golf holes and a farm home as the clubhouse, Wantima has grown from its humble beginnings to become a challenging 18-hole golf course with golf carts, golf practice facilities, tennis courts, and a state-of-the-art clubhouse complete with family-friendly dining, gaming and wedding/function facilities.
Bring your golfing buddies, family, or friends for a relaxing game out in the sun, or give the club a call to enquire about lessons, junior programs, function hire, wedding packages, corporate/charity golf days, or social club group hosting.
Over 200 metres in length, the Driving Range is open to members and their guests. Please bring your own golf balls.
The Practice Green features a chipping and putting area, as well as a practice bunker. It is open to members and their guests. Please bring your own equipment.
The 3 bay hitting nets are available to all golfers.
Wantima Country Club Brisbane takes great pride in mentoring players’ development from a young age through to adulthood. USPGA tour player Cameron Smith is one the club’s most notable golfers to come through Wantima’s program, the 2013 Australian Amateur Champion tied for 4th place in the 2015 US Open and tied for 2nd place in the 2016 Australian Open.

The North Brisbane Golf Course’s fully air-conditioned function room can cater for get-togethers of 50 guests up to 220 guests. Whether you’re throwing a wedding, hosting a conference or celebrating a special occasion, Wantima offers affordable function space hire.
A variety of menu options are available to choose from and staff are on-hand to take care of all your event needs. The friendly and helpful function organisers can also take care of all your decoration, car hire, music and photography needs, or supply you with the relevant information.

Do not wear beach shorts, work boots, flip flops, stubbies, short business socks, footy socks, footy shorts, metal-spiked golf shoes, singlets or tank tops. Such clothing is not permitted at Wantima Country Club.
