Accounting for 33% of Australia’s strawberry production industry, you can get your hands on freshly picked strawberries right here in the Moreton Bay Region at Rolin Farms in Elimbah, just an hour north of Brisbane.

Pick Your Own Strawberries near Brisbane

Does anything taste better than a warm and juicy strawberry freshly picked from the fields? Enjoy a day out in the winter sun with pick your own strawberries at Rolin Farms. Strawberry picking has long been a great activity for family bonding, where children can participate and parents can encourage healthy eating habits in a fun and exciting activity. Stop by the shop to pick up your wooden basket for picking before heading out to the fields either with children in tow or occupied in the playground. Parking is available on the farm for everyone, including busses and caravans.

Bookings are essential. There are six, 1hr time slots are available on Saturday and Sundays - 8.30, 9.30, 11.30, 1.00, 2.00 & 3.00pm.

For the best experience:

  • Listen to instructions - this is a working strawberry farm.
  • Only go where directed - the PYO field changes daily so we can keep them clean.
  • You pay for what you pick - prices are charged per kilo and can vary through the season.
  • Minimum charges apply - minimum 1 kilo pick for 1-2 adults.
  • No eating in the field - wash first.
  • Only those with picking containers may enter the field.

Orchids

From an on-site nursery to attending local shows, the team at Rolin Farms are also experts in collecting and caring for orchids. Specialising in growing the plants to flowering size, you can find a range of orchid species blooming in the nursery when you visit the farm. While viewing of the nursery is on an appointment only basis, there is a selection of flowering orchids for sale in the strawberry shop that you can pick up for a loved one. The team are also avid flower and garden event attendees and while always have a range of orchids available for you to take home on the day.

Strawberry Shop

In a little shed on a massive farm, right next to the car park, you can find the strawberry shop. This is where you’ll pick up your little basket for pick you own strawberries or buy a kilo or more, freshly picked by the team at Rolin Farms themselves. Additionally, you can pick up some delicious jams and jars of honey, refuel with a cappuccino, sample a range of pancake fair available on weekends and school holidays, or try some flavoured ice creams.
