Caboolture Regional Art Gallery

4 Hasking Street, Caboolture QLD, Australia

Art has been a vital part of the human experience since the days of cavemen, and though the styles and trends have changed throughout the centuries, art still plays a huge part in our daily lives.

Whether you’re an artist, an art lover, or just wanting to see something new, there’s always something on offer at the Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.

The Galleries

The Caboolture Regional Art Gallery is a modern, state of the art venue which features four distinct exhibition spaces.

If you’re looking for some of the best in local and touring art exhibitions, without the hassle of Brisbane parking costs, then the Main Regional Gallery is a not-to-be-missed destination. With a history of showcasing nationally significant exhibitions including the National Photographic Portrait Prize touring exhibition, the Main Gallery works to bring the cultural focus of the cities out of the capitals, and into the regional centres and suburbs.

The Long Gallery plays host to exquisite boutique exhibitions throughout the year, with a focus on drawings, paintings, and photography exhibitions. If you’re a fan of the more traditional styles of art, the Long Gallery is the place to go.

The Focus Gallery is a state of the art, dynamic multi-media space designed to encourage art that transcends the boundaries of canvases and pages. For lovers of art with a hint of light and tech magic, this is definitely a gallery to explore.

The Hub is a gallery with a focus on nurturing local artists. This space is an accessible avenue for local and established artists to exhibit their work, with each exhibition running for a month. If you’re looking for new talents, or a certain something for a hard to buy for loved one, this is certainly a gallery to keep your eye on.

When in Doubt, Workshop

The Caboolture Regional Art Gallery isn’t just a place to see art; it’s also building a reputation as a wonderful place to learn how to create the sort of beautiful work you see on the walls of the galleries. With artist talks, allowing art lovers the chance to learn more about the exhibitions they see, as well as ask the niggling questions, workshops for adults and children, and school holiday programs to keep the kids busy and out of the heat, there’s always something happening at the Gallery.
