After already being dubbed the best burgers in Brisbane by The Courier-Mail earlier in the year, Beardy’s Bar & Kitchen has just taken out several awards in The Forkies. Now officially the best Tinder date venue in the Moreton Bay Region, they also landed third runner-up in the service with a smile category, favourite drinking hole and best hangover meal! Essentially, they’re the Jack of all trades.

Winners are grinners – and the team at Valori Espresso & Gallery should be grinning from ear to ear because they’ve just taken out the top spot, crowned the 2019 Forkies Real MVP (most valuable player). Earning themselves the most votes in all categories it’s no surprise they took out the #1 spot for Service with a Smile. The family-owned and operated cafe north Brisbane not only serves up great coffees from local roaster, Neli Coffee, they also give up-and-coming local artists a place to display their artwork, each month hosting an exhibition. Talk about supporting a community!
