Caboolture Festival


From 3rd – 12th August, Caboolture will be a hive of activity with a two jam-packed weeks of events set to bring live music, entertainment, rides, and more to the region.

Caboolture Festival is a brand new festival program for 2019 brought together with a mix of well-known existing events and new events. Your go-to guide for all the fun coming to the region is below, keep reading to find out what events will be on near you in August.

FREE Outdoor Concert featuring Dragon

When: Saturday 3rd August

Time: 3pm - 8pm

Where: Caboolture Town Square

Cost: Free Entry

About the event

Get ready to rock at the Caboolture Festival Concert with must-see headliner, iconic New Zealand rock band, Dragon. Featuring their hit songs 'April Sun in Cuba', 'Are you old enough' and many more this concert will be one not to miss! Four more artists will perform at the Live Concert including; Jukebox Hero, Juzzy Smith, Flaskas and Dan Horne. Plus, food trucks and a pop-up bar!

GemFest

When: Saturday 3rd August

Time: 9am - 4pm

Where: Caboolture Historical Village

Cost: $5 entry, kids under 16 years are free

About the event

For those who are interested in gems and those who are just looking for a weekend activity, Gem Fest will keep you entertained. Tail Gaters will be selling bargains from car boots and Traders will be selling their fancy wares in the Village Halls. With demonstrations, gemstones, lapidary sales, children’s fossicking, raffles and much more, there’s something for the whole family.

Strawberry Sunday

When: Sunday 4th August

Time: 9am - 3pm

Where: Luvaberry Farm, 65 Ziviani Rd, Wamuran

Cost: $5 entry

About the event:

Strawberry Sunday will cost $5 per person for entry, but will be well worth it, as your ticket includes entry to the farm and Pick Your Own strawberries, complimentary tea and coffee, plenty of places to have a strawberry themed picnic, and a free Get Licked ice-block, made in North Lakes using Luvaberry Farm’s own all-natural products.

Garden to Plate

When: 9th August

Time: 6.30pm

Where: Gather and Feast, 7 James Street, Caboolture

Cost: $69 for 4 courses

Gather and Feast are pleased to showcase the Garden to Plate dinner as part of the 2019 Caboolture festival. A vegetarian four course dinner showcasing the very best of what Moreton Bay local producers have to offer.

Taste the flavours of winter with a feast for the eyes and the bellies at the inaugural Garden to Plate dinner.

Homestead Talent Expo

Calling all young country musicians! The Homestead Country Music Youth Talent Expo is coming up on Saturday August 10, so tune your guitar and get practicing! This year, the event will be part of the Caboolture Festival. It’s a great chance for young musicians to get up onstage and gain some experience.

The Australian Buddy Holly Show

Returning to Caboolture RSL in a much anticipated FREE SHOW starring Kris Knight, The Australian Buddy Holly Show is an exciting tribute to one of the pioneers of rock and roll. Kris not only sounds like Buddy Holly but also bears a striking resemblance to the late star.

Adopt a Pet Day

When: Sunday 11th August

Caboolture Festival will be hosting an Adopt a Pet Day on Sunday, August 11. The Adopt a Pet Day will see pets of all types up for adoption. Dogs, cats, birds, and even horses will be looking to find their forever home at this event.
