Abbey Medieval Festival is the largest celebration of medieval culture, 600 to 1600AD in Europe and the Middle East, in the southern hemisphere. Held every July, the festival delivers authentic medieval experiences from the Medieval Banquets, a Kids Dig It! Medieval Family Fun Week, to the main 2 day mega medieval event, where history comes alive thanks to re-enactment encampments, workshops, displays and the highlight, the Joust! With Winter well and truly upon us in July, there is no denying that a little winter warmth is essential and Sandstone Point Hotel’s Annual Bonfire Night is the hottest place to be. Foodies rejoice! Redcliffe’s very own foodie festival is coming back in 2023. Get ready to eat, drink and enjoy all weekend long at the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival, with something to satisfy everyone’s palate.
This weekend-long celebration hosted at Apex Park, Woody Point will feature cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, pop-up bars and dining precincts, tastings, international flavours, seminars, live entertainment and more.
With Moreton Bay as its stunning backdrop, the festival winds its way along the foreshore where foodies will enjoy top-notch bites and sips, along with a jam-packed program of entertainment.

It’s the annual event that draws over 40,000 attendees across one weekend and it’s back in 2023! Redcliffe KiteFest is without a doubt the most popular family-friendly event on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Drawing in international, interstate and local professional kite flyers, Redcliffe KiteFest also features a jam-packed program of live entertainment that over the years has seen acts like Baby Shark, Paw Patrol, Justice League and PJ Masks.
