Thirsty Chiefs Brewing Company

4/4 Wills Street, North Lakes QLD, Australia

Based in North Lakes, Thirsty Chiefs is an exciting brew on premise microbrewery run by North Lakes couple Dean & Shelley Nolan with the help of their 2 daughters.

Thirsty Chiefs offer you a complete brewing experience, right through from working the kettle, to pouring the perfect head, all while sampling your beer on your bottling day. Come on in to pick up the mantle of Chief Brewer, using commercial grade brewing equipment and fine quality ingredients to create your very own chemical and preservative free, great tasting beer.

Many of Dean & Shelley's wide variety of preservative and chemical free beers and ciders are based on a variety of popular brews such as Corona, XXXX and Little Creatures, however they have also created their very own Thirsty Chiefs special range including gluten free beers and even chilli beers.

A Family Friendly Micro-Brewery

The welcoming and friendly environment make you feel right at home the moment you enter - come over solo, with some mates or the whole family, and just enjoy the easygoing social atmosphere whilst brewing your own liquid gold.

You can choose from over 195 local and imported premium beers, ranging from your light coloured refreshing traditional summer beers through to the finest quality dark ales and stouts. You'll also find some Aussie icons amongst the mix as well.

“We love what we do and we’re stoked with the response the community has given us over the last 2 years Thirsty Chiefs has been open. We’re looking forward to supplying even more of the community with our brewing supply gear so they can enjoy more affordable beer at home; whether they brew with us at Thirsty’s or in the comfort of their own home - who doesn’t like having beer on tap!” says Dean.

Thirsty Chiefs New Brewing Supplies Store

But wait, that's not all. The microbrewery has also opened North Lakes Brewing Supplies, a brew store located at 4/4 Wills Street North Lakes, answering the call of local home brew enthusiasts.

“We were getting so many people coming in to do a brew on site but also asking for supplies to brew at home. They were keen to find a local supplier, so we gave them one,” shares Dean.

North Lakes Brewing Supplies Party Hire Services

There really is something available for everyone; homebrewer or not. Whether you are a beginner brewer wanting to cut your teeth with an all in one homebrew starter kit, an experienced brewer needing parts and supplies such as kegerators and ingredients, or you just happen to be planning a party and are in need of portable bar options - Thirsty Chiefs have you covered.

Mobile party hire bar options perfect for parties, engagements and weddings are available through the new brewing supplies store. The down-to-earth couple have thought of everything for fellow beer and cider lovers alike

“There’s nothing worse than running out of drinks at an event. Plus, hiring kegs or a refrigeration trailer is better for the environment and easier because you don’t have to clean up all the empty bottles at the end of the night," Shelley points out.

Included in the list of equipment are party kegs for hire, a 4 tap mobile bar trailer and jockey box rentals. The party hire options vary in size and are perfect for birthdays, engagement parties and outdoor weddings.
