5 Things to do in Redcliffe

Redcliffe is a mecca of holiday fun, from beaches to shopping experiences. Here's our must do list

#1. Suttons Beach

Redcliffe hosts Brisbane’s famous Suttons Beach which is situated at the bottom of our street, where you will also find Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe, water play area for the whole family to enjoy on the shores of the Moreton Bay. Suttons Beach is a great spot to kayak, SUP and if the weather is right, kite surf. It's also the location for the regions biggest Easter event the Redcliffe Festival of Sails.

#2. Redcliffe Jetty Markets

Each Sunday, Redcliffe Parade becomes a hive of activity with the weekly Redcliffe Jetty Markets. With everything from local produce, food and market stalls, it's a leisurely Sunday start. Take the time to stroll along the Redcliffe Jetty, it's a great spot to fish and also has an interesting history which you can read about on the panels along the jetty.

#3. Redcliffe Entertainment Centre

If you love live entertainment, La Vida on Anzac is in walking distance to the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre. Hosting everything from tribute shows to ballet and movie nights, the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre program is diverse. Check the program to see what's on offer during your stay.

#4. Whale Watching

During the months of June to October, Redcliffe Peninsula becomes part of the migration path of over 18,000 humpback whales. There are several operators that offer Moreton Bay Marine Park tours, but the best for up close whale encounters is Brisbane Whale Watching. Departing from the Redcliffe Jetty, patrons are 100% guaranteed to spot whales.

It's just a short walk from La Vida on Anzac to Redcliffe's smorgasbord of cafes, restaurants and takeaway foodie experiences.
