The Bribie Island Bowls Club is perfectly located opposite the Pumicestone Passage in Bongaree at Bribie Island. Open from 10am daily, the club is a hub for not only the sport of Lawn Bowls but also offers an extensive range of food and club facilities.
Boasting 4 outdoor greens, the Bribie Island Bowls club is one of the largest Lawn Bowls Facilities in SE Queensland. We have ladies and gents competitions, we also offer bare foot bowls events for those wanting to get together, learn a new skill and have some fun, under the guidance of a club instructor.
The Coffee shop is open 7 days per week from 10am until late and offers a wide range of pies, quiches, and desserts cooked on premises.
The Bistro is also open daily offering Lunch from 12noon – 2pm and Dinner from 5pm – 8pm along with Breakfast on Sundays from 8am – 10am.
Come down and enjoy our live music, raffles and Tuesday Night Trivia, with 6 Super Fun rounds the whole family can enjoy.
With 110 Gaming Machines, the club offers Daily gaming promotions for its members, Bar, Lounge areas, Keno, Bottle shop and more.
Bribie Island Bowls Club was established in 1929 by members of the Windsor Bowls Club after their many trips to the Island. The Club is now in its 86th year of operations.
The original Clubhouse was purchased from The Moreton Bay Tug Company and floated from nearby Moreton Island on 44-gallon drums.
The first bowling green was built of sand and ashes from the Koopa (the MS Koopa was a ferry used to transport passengers from Redcliffe to Bribie).
The Club currently boasts 4 outdoor greens and a large modern Clubhouse, which was completely renovated in 2005. The Club is now one of the largest Bowls clubs in Queensland with over 700 bowling members together with 5000 social members.
In 2007 Bribie Island Bowls Club was voted ‘Club of the Year’ by Bowls Queensland.

The Bribie Island Community Arts Centre is one of Australia’s largest and busiest arts centres, with space for display, retail, workshops and studios, and catering for more than twenty kinds of arts and crafts.
The Old Fire Station Community Arts and Volunteer Hub is a Redcliffe art gallery located along the peninsular; showcasing some of the finest local art. This facility holds exhibitions of some of greatest art pieces of the Moreton Bay Region and beyond.
