If you are on the hunt for places where you can enjoy fresh seafood, go wandering through market stalls, or have your very own cellar door experience, then we have got your next outing in Moreton Bay Region sorted.

Fresh Seafood For All

It goes without saying – nothing tastes quite as fantastic as fresh seafood. Nor is a day spent at Bribie Island truly complete without ordering fish ‘n’ chips for lunch with your family or friends.

For the freshest seafood around, look no further than Saviges Seafood at Bongaree. Located right near Bongaree Jetty and the beach, this family owned and operated gourmet seafood market and restaurant is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.

Having decades of Commercial Fishing and Trawling and Specialty Seafood Retail experience, Saviges Seafood has fresh seafood for everyone, including - fresh prawns, fish, oysters, Moreton Bay bugs and fish ‘n’ chips! If everyone is feeling really hungry, you can even order their famous “Bucket ‘a’ Prawns”!

Open Sunday – Thursday from 10:00AM – 7:00PM and from 10:00AM – 7:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays, be sure to stop by here for your next lunch or dinner!

Go Strolling Through Food Markets

For a serene Saturday morning stroll, head to St. Pauls Anglican Church in Samford Valley where you can wander through one of the best food markets the Moreton Bay Region has to offer.

Taking place on the second Saturday of each month from 7AM – 12PM, the Samford Valley Markets have a diverse range of stalls set up around the pretty church grounds for you to browse through, including stalls selling local produce, tea and coffee, fresh baked goods, second-hand books and clothes, and craft items.

With gorgeous hilly surrounds, fresh country air and a welcoming atmosphere, come along to Samford Valley one Saturday to relax and experience the Samford Valley Markets for yourself!

The Ultimate Cellar Door Experience

Feel like having a picnic in a vineyard or learning some facts about wine and beer on a winery and brewery tour?

Then make your way to Ocean View Estates in the Moreton Bay Region hinterland where you can enjoy a scenic day out and have your very own cellar door experience. With winery and brewery tours taking place daily from 11AM and plenty of other vineyard tour options available, your hardest decision will be deciding which tour to choose!

You can have a picnic in the vineyard and enjoy some cheese and crackers, explore the vineyard on horseback, walk through the vineyard with a winemaker and learn some interesting facts, or arrive at Ocean View Estates in style with an unforgettable helicopter flight!

You can also book to stay in one of the quaint cottages and houses overlooking the gardens if you want your cellar door experience to last even longer!
