Redcliffe Farmers & Artisan Markets: Fabulous Foreshore Shopping

Of all the markets in Moreton, the Redcliffe Markets is held in the most enviable location. With amazing views, live music, a delicious food scene and quality shopping, this is a smaller but vibrant market for those with discerning taste. With no second hand or bric-a-brac items, this market is a cornucopia of home décor, fashion, exotic imports, trendy crafts and fresh produce. Perfect to bring interstate guests or a great place to spend a leisurely, sunny morning.

When: Every Sunday from 8 am.

Where: Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe. Free entry & free parking.

Samford Valley Market

Hosted by St Paul’s Anglican Church this 50-stall market is a whimsical, local institution. With a mountain range backdrop, the enticing smell of fresh baking and the charm of pretty church grounds, Samford Valley is an idyllic Saturday morning outing. With country feel, local produce, fresh baked goods and crafts mingle stalls of second-hand books, homewares and clothes. At this Moreton Market, you can expect easy parking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere…

When: Second Saturday of the month from 7 am.

Where: St Paul’s Anglican Church, 12 Mt Samson Road, Samford Valley.

Petrie Town Country Market: Old Petrie Town

Known as being the oldest hand-made market in Australia the Petrie Markets have a charming feel and historically-inspired location in Old Petrie Town. Market stalls of old-fashioned goods, fresh produce and yesteryear’s curious are lined alongside old-world inspired bake and lolly stores. Mistrals roam the streets entertaining, there’s a hawkers food barn and vast green lawns to relax, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy your food on. Take a trip back in time, this Moreton Region Market is as much a historical journey as a shopping experience.

When: Sundays from 7 am.

Where: Dayboro Rd, Kurwongbah.

Caboolture Markets: 300 Stalls of anything you can imagine!

Every Sunday morning from 6am, Caboolture Markets are a thriving hub of bargain shoppers, collectable hunters and fresh food junkies. With a country town feel, thousands of people attend this market every week to enjoy coffee, browse the 300 plus stalls and enjoy children’s amusements. Caboolture Markets is truly a family-geared outdoor shopping experience – make a day of it!

When: Every Sunday: 6 am - 12 noon (year-round except Caboolture Show Sunday & Christmas Day).

Where: 140 Beerburrum Rd, Caboolture.

North Harbour Night Markets

A Moreton marketplace for people to gather, eat and drink, North Harbour Night Markets previously known as Bite Markets is a colourful dining hub for those budget foodies with no dish selling for over $15! From the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of over 40 permanent flavour makers, Bite Markets at North Harbour is sure to indulge all your senses, hitting those sweet, spicy and savoury spots.

When: Friday and Saturday nights from 4 pm until 10 pm.

Where: Nolan Drive, Morayfield.

North Lakes Market Zone

Showcasing local businesses and their products, this Moreton Market features live music, loads of stalls and mouth-watering food vendors. With the picturesque backdrop of Lake Eden, North Lakes Market Zone is the ideal place to spend a Sunday morning browsing for a unique find and delicious breakfast prepared by local entrepreneurs. Once you've finished exploring the market, you can head over to the shaded playground, making sure to bring a picnic rug to sit and enjoy the local produce provided by the market stallholders.

When: Last Sunday of each month, 8 am - 1 pm

Where: 15 Halpine Drive, North Lakes.
